Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD) Board of Trustees, led by Chairman BR Naidu, has made several significant decisions during its latest meeting, including the termination of the Srivani Trust.

Among the reforms, TTD aims to ensure devotees attending Sarvadarshan can complete their darshan within 2–3 hours. Additionally, pagan employees working under TTD will be transferred to the government.

Other decisions include naming the upper bridge of Srinivasa Setu as Garuda Varadhi and clearing the Tirumala dumping yard within three months. To enhance transparency and governance, funds will be transferred from private banks to government banks.

TTD will also reclaim the leased land of Sharadapeeth and cancel permissions for newly constructed establishments, such as the Mumtaz Hotel. Furthermore, darshan tickets issued through tourism are being completely discontinued.

To prioritize local devotees, the board has decided to reserve the first Tuesday of every month for Tirupati residents to have darshan.

BR Naidu emphasized that all actions are focused on improving the experience of devotees and maintaining Tirumala’s sanctity, without political interference.
